Check The Internet Connection

If the internet connection at your home is down or not performing at its best, you might end up having issues using the Roomba App. Try reconnecting your device to the wireless network and try relaunching the roomba app. If that doesn’t help, restart the wireless router/extender that you are using. If that doesn’t help, you’ll need to check the network settings of your router. Make sure they are ok and you have internet access through the same. Furthermore, also make sure that you are using the correct network credentials to connect to it. Once connected, you can proceed with using the roomba app again.

If you still face issues with connecting the Roomba app to WiFi, you can connect with your ISP for a resolution. You can also try using a different smartphone to confirm if the issue is with your smartphone. Force Stop The App

  • Access the smartphone’s Settings and head to the Apps section. Scroll through the list of installed apps and select the iRobot app.

Roomba I and S series

  • Press and hold the CLEAN button on the top of the robot for about 10-20 seconds. Wait for the Bin LED to spin clockwise in white color.
  • Once that happens, release the button and then allow some time for the robot to restart.

Roomba 700, 800, 900 Series

    • Press and hold the CLEAN button on the top of the robot for about 10-20 seconds. Wait for a reboot tone to play on your robot.
    • Once that happens, release the button and then allow some time for the robot to restart.
